No band lately has influenced me as greatly as Young the Giant has with their self-titled album.  The artwork, their summer-y music genre, their writing style, and just their overall feel.  Young the Giant is one of the bands that gives me hope that good, well-written music will succeed, no matter what the corporate music giants want. Their laidback and casual style isnt what music execs jump on to sell to the masses, but no one can argue with their tremendous talent and natural ability to create great music. Just a great band getting the recognition they deserve.
